This compact book by Swami Tapasyananda is all about Sri Sarada Devi, the consort and first disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. The first part covers an intimate account of her life with some of the author’s interpretations of the events; the second part is an analysis of her as the Motherhood of God; and the third and final part educate us about her teachings.
Swami Tapasyananda was an erudite scholar and has many books to his credit, including translation of many scriptures. He was the vice-president of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission from 1985 to 1991.
